I recently stayed at a lovely accommodation in a quiet area near St. John's. The suite was clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities, including a full kitchen and a comfortable bed. The owner, Pat, was incredibly accommodating and even let me use his garden hose to wash my rental car. The location was also convenient, with easy access to St. John's and other attractions in the area. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the peaceful mornings and evenings. I had a wonderful experience at this hidden gem and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay near St. John's.

The location of this place is very convenient, as it is close to Holy Cross Park, seafood restaurants, Avalon peninsula, and the ocean; I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at the spacious and well-equipped 2 bedroom basement apartment at Comerford's Ocean View Suites. the rooms were filled with natural daylight, and the beds were comfortable. the kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and there was always plenty of hot water in the bathroom. the location was central and convenient for exploring the area, including St John's and whale watching trips, although a rental car is necessary. the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this location, especially for families. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊.

The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Another bonus was the always-available hot water in the shower/bath combination. The location was central to the area, making it convenient to explore St. John's and go on whale watching trips. Having a rental car was necessary, and there was ample parking available. The added bonus of good lighting at night provided us with a sense of security. I would highly recommend Comerford's Ocean View Suites, as it exceeded our expectations in every way.

Drawbacks: Although the apartment was spacious and comfortable, there were a few minor drawbacks. The 4-5 steps down to the apartment could have been better maintained, especially for older individuals who may have difficulty with mobility.

The staff allowed us to check in early without any issues. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to St. John's and various highways for exploring Conception Bay. The friendly staff recommended Salmonier Nature Park for a great outing and Wong's Chinese and Canadian Diner for a delicious meal loaded with fresh seafood and vegetables. The fully equipped kitchen and abundance of towels and toiletries made the suite feel like a home away from home. a peaceful and homely spot for a long-term stay. Highly recommended!
